Samauma operates in the lower abdomen and cleanses our pineal gland. It is known for cleaning, reorganizing and anchoring energies to connect us with the earth as well as opening the thrid eye during application.

The Samaúma or Sumaúma tree grows in the Amazon and can be found in other places as well. It is considered sacred by the ancient Mayan peoples and jungle tribes. Some specimens reach a height of 90 meters, which makes it one of the largest trees in the world of the flora. This tree manages to extract water from the depths of the Amazon soil and uses it not only for its own supply but also to share with other species. The Samauma used for Rapé grows relatively quickly and can reach a height of 40 meters.

Indigenous peoples consider it the "mother" of all trees. Its roots are called "sapobemba". These roots are used for communication in the rainforest, which is done by tapping into these structures. Some believe that Samaúma is the seat of the spirits that live in the forest. It is also commonly known as the "Tree of Life" and "Ladder of Heaven", which builds a connection between Heaven and Earth. For these reasons, this medicine can provide a very strong spiritual connection.

In addition, the tree has multiple medicinal properties and is considered by the inhabitants of the forest as a tree with magical powers that even protects the other trees and all kinds of life forms of the jungle. In traditional tribal medicine this mixture is used to increase fertility and heal relationships among the tribespeople.

The bark is used as an additive for some versions of the entheogenic drink Ayahuasca. It is also used  to help with childbirth. The Samauma Rapé has the ability to work intensively on our crown chakra, which is responsible for our connection to the Astral plane. Due to its impact on the abdominal area, it can as well act in our umbilical cord chakra, dealing with our relationships.
