Like whispers among the leaves, Txana Nui carries his songs from the heart of the forest. Powerful guitars, the serpentine rattle of the maracá, wild drums, and ancient Huni Kuin melodies weave into prayers that call upon the spirits of nature, the universe, the sky, elements and mother earth with all her expressions of life. Each note is a bridge to the secrets of the ancestors – an invitation to breathe in rhythm with the Earth. The songs bear the character of a Kene – the sacred chants of the Huni Kuin, sung in ceremonies and healing rituals.
