Kuripé
Also know as the instrument which is used to apply Rapé/Hapé/Rume to ones own self through the nose.

Kuripé is seen as a sacred and personal tool/instrument and it is usually made out of bones and/or wood.

Technology allowed also stone and metal to be used in order to craft a Kuripé.

Please read the following lines:

Here are the list of recommendations based on years of experience and connection to many beautiful masters of plant medicine:

1. Only one person should use the kuripé but if a very dear friend of yours has forgotten his/hers then you could make an exception but not too often.

2. Always keep it protected from being touched or seen by people who are not familiar with the works of plant medicine.

3. Keep it in a special bag (received by purchasing one of our Kuripés) or place it on your altar.

4. Have a habit of periodical smudging and cleaning with a special brush (both the brush and a fairtrade ecological PaloSanto aka. sacred wood will be received by purchasing one of our Kuripés).

5. Never wash with water and always protect it from direct sun light (for short times it's ok) also avoid putting it in hot places like inside the car under the front or back glass in the summer.

6. Upon receiving your Kuripé light a candle and smudge your self and the space.

Create a ceremony through which you connect to your instrument, welcoming it in your life, thanking life for all the gifts and the materials that made them selves available in order for the Kuripé to be created.

Put some Hapé on the palm of your hand, thank master Tobacco and the whole rainforest and grandmother earth etc.

Put the Hapé inside your Kuripé, breathe fully and slowly in, keep feeling the gratitude and blow all the Hapé out, giving the first medicine serve to life it self.

7. Congratulations. You have a Kuripé. Use it well.

8. If you decide someday you would like to say goodbye to your instrument, do it in an honorable way.

You could give it back to forest with your favorite flowers, crystals and Tobacco.

Thanking what was that made you, you the way you are now.

All the blessings and love to you
